Hi, I have 2 different rips of the same track, in 44.1 khz 16 bit stereo PCM, the common .wav file. The frequency spectrum and gain is different though, but I can't really tell from the pic which is better, can anyone help?
I think the one with the assymetrical amplitude (bottom is stronger than top), is worse, but I am not sure. How is this assymetry caused by the way? I have the feeling that the bottom track is more intense, because there is more yellow instead of read in the middle of the track. The upper track has one peak more though, in the beginning of the track.
(oh and I used BMP to be sure no graphical glitching occurred, so it loads slowly. If you guys prefer to view it externally give a shout!)
