HI. I have an mpx3 and now a zhaolu dac.

The power cord that comes with the zhalou is generic, for the mpx3 I have a aural thrills audio expensive one.

Theoretically, which component should get the best PC?

(i believe this has been asked before, I tried a search under different terms but could get no specific results)

In my system the power cord on the DAC made a larger difference.

You should put it on the amp because it probably draws more current from the wall. In practice, do whatever sounds better. If you can't tell which sounds better...well that's another topic

Fattest cord on amp, thinnest on source. If both are equal size, put the best one on the source.

Between my amp, dac & computer based source, I notice the most difference when using the "better" power cable with my amp.
