I will be purchasing a music fidelity v-dac, ray samuals p-51 mustang, grado 325is, and denon 2000s. I am just a tad confused on how all the cables will go. I currently own an asus xonar stx sound card as well. So what is the best route for cable and how do I do it?

STX has these ports.
Line In Yes
SPDIF Out High-bandwidth Coaxial/TOS-Link combo port supports 192KHz/24bit
MIC In Yes
Other Ports Aux-In (4-pin header on the card)
Front-Panel Header: Shared by Headphone out / 2 channels out / Microphone in
S/PDIF Header: Connects to compatiable graphic cards for HDMI output

So do I go Xonar stx - coaxial - v-dac - rca - p-51 - headphones.
I am just so confused, so all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sell the V-DAC or the Essence, you don't need both. For V-DAC use optical on the motherboard to connected, for Essence just install the card. Both should be using the RCA to connect to the headphone amp (portable one on a desktop setup?).
