I am getting ready to send some new DT770's to Larry and initially bought the basic silver cable knowing I would probably upgrade the purchase once I got some feedback from this site. What do you guys recommend for Darth's?

I am not really a bass head- I like the higher end more detailed, but would like to have one pair of good low end HPs. I do not really care for the DT770s stock, so I am hoping this mod improves them. I listen to mostly acoustic rock and jazz.

So blackmax, blackcopper, or blackgold?

I am also wondering about this. I am split between blackmax and blackgold. Is blackgold a lot stiffer than blackmax? Is the sound any different?
