Hi all,

I am looking for advice on a circa £120.00 portable amp/dac for use with Galaxy S3/4 running 4.3.

I had a Fiio Eo7K but battery failed. Next Fiio E18 but the Charge out didn't function and it drained S3 battery. Both returned to supplier.

Do I get a new E18, (it sounded lovely with Akg k550s) or is there an alternative someone could suggest. Needs to be available in UK and no more than £120.00, $180.00 US.

I've got the E18 and haven't had any problems with it. The only other at this level I know of is the JDS Labs C5D. It's more expensive though and I can't personally vouch for it's sound quality (it should be good though).
