Dear audiophiles,
I live far away from most high end audio stuff and cannot test much before I buy.
I've got two set of cans: AKG K702 and a Shure SHR-1540. I have also got a DAC/Amp that is rather good but slightly too weak in my opinion - the Nuforce HDP.
I intent to use it as a DAC with the new amp. In the far future I might get some planar headphones ( well, I want one
).
I've tried to research amps online and narrowed it down to these two: Lake People G109A and Schiit Lyr 2.
Which amp would you recommend? Do you know of other similarly priced amps that might suit me better?
I listen to most music genres except R&B (just can't).
