Buget's around $50 (incl. shipping to Europe).
I have seen really positive mentions of CMOY amps, and I found them on two sites (http://fredsamplifiers.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_16&products_id=33 and http://www.lucidlaboratories.com/shop-1/cmoy-headphone-amplifier or this http://fredsamplifiers.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=38) for a price within my budget.
I have also seen some positive (and quite a bit of negative) for FiiO amps (in this case the cheap E02i), so I'm quite vary.
I've the Beyerdynamics DT990 250Ohm Pro version.
I've sensitive hearing and usually notice small things (like hissing, interference, etc..).
I would be using it for all kinds of FLAC music (Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Rap, Metal, Techno, Electronic, probably could add more), as well as sound editing (just voice), and gaming (meaning meaning good immersion factor which comes from hearing a sound actually move as if it was 5.1/7.1 surround system - is that called soundstage? Not sure).
I would connect it to my integrated (or some really, really cheap) sound card - mentioning just in case that matters.
I would need it to run on power cord of some sort, not batteries that I'd have to change periodically (I'd keep it on 24/7).
Before I make a purchase, since my sound card can't drive it, what would you recommend?
