I found your forum after many researches on the web because I had enough of my Beats by Dre solo hd... haha
 
I bought the audio technica ath m50, I was going to return them because of the bass that was not enough present for me but I used them with my computer and the sound was just perfect.
But they don't have the same quality when used with my ipod classic.
So I bought some Fiio E5 headphone amplifier -.-
The sound is still not very good. I'm planning to buy a Sandisk Sansa clip+ and a new portable amp.
Can you suggest me any portable amplifier please ?

Fiio E11 with EQ 1 is doing good things to the bass, 2 is too much but 1 keeps it tight and rumbling.
