Hello

I'm getting the Sony NW-WM1A player.

I already have Oppo PM-2 headphones.

I don't have a clue which 4.4mm balanced cable to get though.

The Oppo has 2x 2.5mm connectors at the headphone end.

Where do I get a suitable cable from?

Well, I suppose the answer depends on a lot of things. My personal experience with cables is fairly limited, but I've had good luck so far with my EffectAudio Ares II. I use it for my IEMs, but I understand they can terminate for a wide variety of headphone and earphone connections. For flexibility, I had them terminate my Ares to a 2.5mm balanced, which I can then couple with either a 3.5mm single-ended or a 4.4mm balanced, depending on the source. I most often use it with the 4.4mm to my Sony WM1A, but it is nice to have the flexibility.
