Well, I have set my sights one a pair of sub-100 phones. So, far, I have chosen on these two:

HiFiMAN RE-400
Sennheiser CX 985
Steelseries FLUX Pro

I prefer warm, musical sound. Clarity and a broad soundstage are also important. At the moment, I am leaning towards the RE-400. I would appreciate any feedback, or suggestions. If there is another set I haven't considered, I would like to know that too. Thank you in advance.

I know the title is messed up, but based off the suggestions, I think he wants IEM's. Regardless, I suggest either the HiFiMAN's or a pair of Shure SE215's

Are you looking for IEM's or headphones?

Boy, do I feel sheepish now! Sorry, that's what happens when you're typing and can't keep your eyes open. Title edited, and of course I meant earbuds. Thanks for any advice you could give me.

se 215's are a little bassy with rolled off highs.
re 400 are neutral.
both are very good in the budget.
good luck

The RE-400 for a generally warm sound. The AX35 for a more V shaped sound.
