I have a different prediction for the future of Streetstyles and other such popular things. We're notiving lately random products by popular brands starting to posess "audiophile" traits. Especially some of the newer CD players, where even the cheap ones have line-out nowadays, though many still have crappy sound. Still, I think manufacturers are getting better at finding the ground between pleasing "audiophiles" and the mass consuming market and are striving to please us a bit more in some of their recent products.

Then again things will most likely get crappier and cheaper and Streetsyles will continue to suck.
