I live in Metro DC and want to try out a Beyer Dynamic 250-80. Any suggestions on who sells these locally? I went to beyerdynamic site and found that the distributor for this area is actually in NJ

I contacted the dealer for Chicagoland area and got a demo unit from the factory for 15 days

All it cost me was the shipping back ($7-8)

Just for the record, I'm from DC, and I don't know. You used to be able to demo them (albeit in confined conditions) in Mars Music in Virginia, but no longer, I fear...I would try Darius' approach, good one!
