Where's a good place that has a nice selection of higher end cans in Denver? Particularly that allows you to listen to your own audio, and amp'd?

The upcoming meet might be useful, but that's not until July I think. Otherwise, i'd be curious to know myself

I saw the meet but its a limited venue, 20 people isn't a whole lot. I bought my Senns at Ultimate Electronics, but the HD555's we're the best ones they had. I love them, but I want to listen to some closed vs open as well.

You might want to try ListenUp. I know they used to carry the Grado line.

I was able to demo Grados at ListenUp in boulder, ending up buying them. The highest end model they had was the 325is though IIRC

Another option is to buy used headphones here and demo them. Buying used let's you sample headphones with minimal financial loss.
