Hey guys,
Well im hoping some of you out there might be able to help me figure out where i should start. I would really like to learn to play the piano. Ive been playing the guitar for some time now and it was the cheap version of the piano in my head to see if i still enjoy playing music. With that said i know rather nothing about pianos, and im curious what you suggestions are. I was thinking about taking some lessons and see how they go before i just go out and buy a piano. Any idea on what normal lessons go for? Input would be great!

A lot of decent music stores will offer lessons for about $30-40 per half hour. It would be a good idea to have an idea of what kind of music you would like to play. Unless you are into classical music, don't start with that as it will likely lengthen your learning curve to the point where you may lose interest.

Once you actually get going, practice, practice, practice! Even only 15 minutes every day is better than one hour once a week.

I have also heard people try the Piano Guy with decent results.
