Hi, I just upgraded to an A&K SP1000ss (which sounds wonderful with my SE535s) but I'm wondering if I can get even better sound (perhaps more resolution/detail) by upgrading.

I don't dislike the 535s. I wish they had deeper bass and more detail overall but they're comfortable and somewhat satisfying. I did have SE846s for a while (until I stupidly lost them) and loved the deep bass but found them a bit uncomfortable in the ear.

I listen to classical, jazz and prog rock.

I'm hoping to get some recommendations on brands and models.

Custom Art Fibae 2 might be something to look into? Said to have the same or similar amount of bass to the 846 by now.
