I've enjoyed my Grace 901 for a while now, but I'm interested in a SET headphone amp. Of this type what brands/models are available? The Moth 2A3 appears to be loved but as far as I know they are out of business. My headphones are the HD650s with Equinox cables.

I'm really interested in the answers to this question as well.

My three week experience with a completely stock Cary 300SEI is that I didn't like the HD600+Cardas through its headphone jack. Just couldn't get it loud enough (with my Chord DAC64 too, which has pretty high gain output) without hitting distortion.

But then again, I'm known for running the Grace m902 at 75+ on "HI" gain mode with my Senns...

Best,

I've had my Grace 901 for over 2 years and I'm still very pleased with it. I've ordered a Raptor that I should be getting within 2 weeks. I plan to keep the Grace 901 and use the Raptor as my "tube sound" alternative. I also have the HD650 w/Zu, as well as the SA5000, K1000, K340, K501, CD3K's and the Ety 4P/S to try on the Raptor when I get it. I expect that some of my cans will match better with the Raptor and some will be better with the Grace. My reasoning for ordering the Raptor is that I want the warmth and liquidity that tube amps provide but I don't want to give up my 901 because it seems to do pretty well with just about everything.
