So my favorite IEMs, the Miles Davis Tributes (not the Trumpets), are falling apart. What would be some good quality IEMs to replace them with? Looking at staying under $400. I listen to mostly 90's, EDM, and a mixture of other genres. I haven't shopped for audio gear in a long time, so I'm not even sure where to start looking.

Dunu hybrids. Consider the dn1000-it's the biggest bass sounding of that series. You posted on the MD thread yet?

Monster had something strong going. They simply has shiet cables (ironically) but their tuning were superb!

These and the Coppers at the time when they were the flavor of the month (FOTM) happened to be my favorite universal iems.  For $299, the Cardas A8 possesses a similar tonality and bass response to that of the Tributes. Hey, even the blue color kind of matches.  I kind of wish I still had my first Tribute set as it had the metal housing versus the plastic (crap) of subsequent batches.
