If you want a glass head, they have them at Pier One Imports for $15 or so. Also bananna stands run dirt cheap at Target, apprently.

I made my own, just took a lamp stand one of those tall thin pole ones, and duct taped some pieces of thin wood to it...works great, currently holding my A900s

duct tape is amazing

bought a stand for hand towels at ross. maybe $8? holds 580s and 650s with ease.

I picked up one of those glass heads from Pier One, even made a nice wood base for it. Works like a charm, and looks great while doing so.

If you are into banana stands, you can check out specialty cookware stores, not to mention Linens and Things. But definitely definitely definitely check out shops such as Ross, Marshalls, Tj Maxx, all those bargain clothing stores...they always have a housewares section with all sorts of knick knacks. I just picked up 3 very different yet very elegant banana hangers!

Ikea sells these clay heads for about 7-12 bucks depending on size that make decent headphone stands.
