Hi,

today i kind of destroyed the jack plug on my iem's

So naturally my first thought (ok the second, the first one contained some bad language) was to get a replacement jack and get down to soldering.

I looked around a bit and read a lot about cheap ones that break really fast.

So if anyone knows a manufacturer which offers some great "bang for the buck" Jack Plugs i really would appreciate it

Order a Rean or Amphenol 3.5mm connector. They're both about the same price, it just depends on which you think looks better I guess. The soldering style is about the same on both as well.

Amphenol: http://www.redco.com/Amphenol-KS3PB-AU.html

Rean: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neutrik-Rean-NYS231BG-3-5mm-3-Pole-Plug-Gold-Contacts-and-Black-Metal-Handle-/230794837733?pt=US_Audio_Cables_Adapters&hash=item35bc71bee5

I edited my first post. I linked (what I thought) would show a list of amphenol connectors that Redco.com offers, but it didn't show them once it was linked here.

Anyway, yeah they amphenols are great. They look nicer IMO and function the same. I actually have like 20 of them here at my house.
