Going upto the Yokuska/Tokyo area for a couple of weeks, wondering if any of you from Japan/visited Japan know where I can pick a pair up for a decent price.

Priced them at "Best Electronics" here in Sasebo, and they wanted 55,000yen for a brand new pair, little extreme imo. If I cant find a pair for a decent price might end up trying a woodied HD600.

That's a really stiff price. Usually in the shops here in Tokyo, it's somewhere in the 4x,000 range. Dunno who to go for the absolute cheapest prices but Soundhouse (www.soundhouse.jp) has them for Y37,800 - you can always order from them and have them shipped to you. Anyway, you can find this pretty much everywhere.
