Hello,
I'm a relatively new member of the Head-Fi community, but have felt for some time that seeking sonic perfection is a noble and worthy aim. I've already owned my share of mid-priced (budget for here) cans for studio work: HD 280s, DT-770s, Sony MDRs and my latest acquisition AT M50s (very happy).
Have been thinking about upgrading my recreational phones and thought it might be fun to pop my custom cherry. I understand there are a number of head-fi'ers producing and selling their mods : this was the claim of Jude in the latest HeadFi TV episode. My question is: what kind of customisations are we talking here, and where can I find them? Who's selling what?
Point me in the right direction, I'm a tourist!
