Howdy!

Looking for the best price (obviously) from a decent source (taking customer care etc. in consideration).

I'm looking to buy an Audiotrak Prodigy 7.1 in the uk, but can't find any on ebay (international) or froogle.co.uk...

Now i only have PCI, so i can't purchase ProdigyLT (as it's pci-x?)?

And in addition to that (before i purchase it), does the regular Prodigy 7.1 support qsound?

Thanks for the help!

The Prodigy 7.1 seems to be discontinued or somesuch. (BTW, why do you ask here, computers-as-source is next door?)

Of course the 7.1LT will work fine in an ordinary PCI slot. It's only compatible with 3.3 V PCI as well, so that use is not restricted to the usually single lonely oldschool 5V 33 MHz PCI slot on workstation boards. M-Audio and Creative cards have been for years (the former because this is necessary for newer Macs).

Yup, the current drivers come with QSound. (Get the latest version 2.18, which is much improved in terms of crackle sensitivity. The link has been posted in computers-as-source.)
