I just joined Head-Fi last week and I this is my first thread.

I've been looking around Headroom for quite a while and the new DT 770s really caught my eye. Where can I buy the Beyerdynamic DT 770 that are the new 2006 version? I see them on Headroom; is there anywhere else that sells them? I'm hoping to get a better deal, but if I can't thats okay too. Thanks.

Not really cheaper, but at least you get the option to buy the 32 ohm version so you don't have to buy an amp, if you don't already have one.

I found the 2005 DT 770 at todd the vinyl (& headphone) junkie for $209. It was my first purchase from him so I ended up getting it for $204 shipped.

The picture is of the pre-2005, but I emailed and Todd said it's the latest version 2005.
