I see a few of you have put woodies on your prestige series grados.
It's a good look, and I'd like to try it sometime, and see the effect on my trusty old SR80s (once my 325i's arrive).
Where are you all getting them from!? I can't find anyone that sells them alone. ALO sells pre-modded phones, and some other website I found will mod your phones with woodies and a recable.
Is there anywhere I can just buy some Mahogany woodies by themselves?
How much should i be paying for these?
and how happy are people who have done it themselves with the results?

I heard them on SR225s with bowls. The bass was increased as was the treble. The treble seemed a little too strong for me, but I have a feeling that it was because the SR225 that Cody had them on were not broken in yet. Also, I think that they would have sounded even better with flats instead of bowls, but I didn't get the chance to put flats on them. I know that there are a couple Head-Fi'ers out there that are writing reviews of them soon.
