I've managed to get hold of a decent condition Iriver H120 locally and am now proceeding to upgrade it as far as possible.

Have ordered a new longer-life battery but can't seem to find anyone stocking the correct 40gb hard-drive, preferably in the UK.

Anyone upgraded theirs recently, if so what hard-drive and where from?

Are they that hard to find or is it just me?

only one that fits the hp-120 case is the Toshiba mk4007gal and it has never been released to the consumer market, but every once in a while you can find one on ebay.... personally, i'm waiting for samsung's 64gb SSD drive to come out

Thanks, the SSD idea sounds good and it's about time we had some options to replace all those old HD's.

I'll keep looking....
