I am starting on my second amp that is going to be enclosed in a Hammond 1455C802 case. Long story short, I drilled one hole the wrong size and tried to adapt another piece in it's place. End result, very ugly looking plastic end piece.

I called Hammond up and they said they don't sell the plastic pieces seperately. A new case is $8 and I don't want to have to place a new order just for a piece of plastic. At the same time, I don't know where I could find one the right size (thickness is probably the real problem).

Does anyone have an extra piece or ideas of where I can get one?

Thanks so much.

Either that Hammond rep needs a clue, or they've changed their policy. I have spares for their larger 1455 cases, which I got through Handmade Electronics. They had to special-order them, and I might have had to buy 10 each (not sure) but it wasn't a big deal. Buying just one would probably be a bit of a hassle, what with the double shipping. It might be cheaper to just get another case. Or, I guess you could organize a group buy....
