It looks monster long doesn't it?
Well I'm really happy with my Ultrasone Pro 900s for just about everything - except portable. That's where the Sennheiser HD25 Mark IIs wins hands down, particularly with its tiny 90 degree angled 3.5mm jack plug. With the portable amp, any criticism of its small soundstage vanishes into the ether.
But the Ultrasone Pro 900s keep begging me for a run....
Has anyone successfully reterminated their Ultrasone Neutrik plugs into a 3.5mm 90 degree low profile L angle plug? I'm looking for this with the gold plated type.
The Ultrason 3.5mm short lead is useless. I like the long coiled lead.
Recommendations anyone? This side of the water or the other side is okay, since it would just be sending the cable, and not the whole headphone as these are detachable, and I can always use the other uncoiled cable in the meantime....
