I'm seriously considering purchasing a set, but I would really rather audition them in person before dropping $1400. Does anybody live near Palo Alto/Menlo Park, or know of any audio shops reasonably close by that have them in stock?

I bet someone will have a set at the Norcal meet 2/27. Check out the thread in the meets section and see if there's one in the gear list. There were a few at the last one.
