Where can I buy pre recorded MD's in the U.S.

I'm having the same problem with 8-tracks. I don't know if they exist anymore. Do they still sell prerecorded MD in UK? They used to. I haven't seen any pre-recorded MD's here since their first inception in early 90's. They disappeared about a year later.

HMV and other large music stores should carry a small amount, but why bother paying $15 for a pre recorded Md anyway?

no idea, but why not buy a CD and copy it? not like you'll get better sound, atrac is a weak enough link to not worry too much about other things.

I've seen them at Best Buy, Sony stores, Virgin MegaStores, and a number of independent music stores.

That said, you're usually better off buying the CD and a blank MD -- it's cheaper than the MD itself, which is usually $15 or more. Plus this way you have the uncompressed CD as a bonus

The Best Buy here had SOME MDs for sale, but the selection was just some pop garbage, it was even worse then the music selection they have for SACD which occupies the same area the MDs did.
