I just bought a pair of shure e4c's and I am planning to buy a Sony HD-5, Zen extra, or that new Kenwood HD-20 if it ever makes it to the states.

All I am missing is an amplifier, I think tubes sound better over transistors, and I remember seeing a picture of a tube amp inside a mint tin somehwere on this forum.

I want to buy a tube mint amp but i dont know where to find them, anyone?

whats a decent amount of battery time? im willing to change a 9v once every other day, diablo yeah thats it, i want something like that yaha or soha, i wonder if rechargeable batteries work?

well those links look like good sources for building an amp, but i dont have time and i dont want to deal with any problems that might occur in building

id rather buy one
