Where are the weak spots in the Bravo amps and how does one improve their reliability?

there's only three active devices per channel, but reviews (and my Yuanjing version's intermittent signal with "white noise" burst) seem to point to excessive problems of noise, crackle and failure to pass a signal.

Are the active devices failing? (a starved tube whose heater V isn't too high should last a long time)
Are cold solder joints part of the problem? - Low grade caps?

What's your experience with these and what did you do to improve reliability ? (One reply at
Amazon said the headphone jack failed after a month.) I do like their sound when working.

Soldering on the Bravo are hit and miss, most problems can be resolved by completely reheat all soldering joints and make sure they flow correctly into the holes.
All joints will look fine from naked eyes, but a lot of them are not.

Thanks - sure appreciate the reply and I've a Yuanjing version which
intermittently.goes into bursts of "white noise" (IIRC on one channel) - maybe that's a cold solder joint to one of the tube's grids (?)
I sure would not want anything as complex as a DAC with solder joints that poor.
