I get a personal message and when i read it then it pops up again and its the same message again. This happens alot, lie its sending me a copy.

I think it happens when you go back to the main page without refreshing. Next time take a look at the number of unread messages before and after you read the message. If you have not refreshed the number will not have changed and the software thinks you have not read the message.
