i don't know the exact release date of cowon d2, but it's been a while. do you think their prices will start to drop anytime soon? maybe around the christmas period? or when is their next product gonna be released?

Cowon products always seem to be expensive, in Europe at least. The only hope you have of paying a reasonable price is when end of line products start appearing on Ebay through resellers. Even then they still command top prices.

If you follow the trend for other Cowon players, then never.

Strangely, Cowon players actually seem to go up in price after they have been discounted, and even those that don't go up remain fairly steady.

I did manage to pick up a new 20 gig M5L (X5L without the video and annoying subpack) on Ebay for £100 a couple of months ago. Not cheap by any means but compared to the silly money X5s recently sold for I can't complain.
