arfm.co.uk, one of the few stations in the uk that plays decent rock music.  Only bad thing is the amount of ads.

WWOZ

Made semi-famous by HBO. That fame has not affected the music, thankfully.

WTUL - local college station run by Tulane. Great music, horrifying bunch of nitwit DJs who, apparently,  have all agreed to feign being stoned while on air.

Q107 (the mighty "Q") great rock/hard rock station and the Fan590 (sports radio).

I grew up in Buffalo and used to CHUM in the 70's...it was great back then, alot of progressive rock. How are they now?

I just bought some cheap Altec speakers for my laptop...$25 and they sound...not bad bought them really to watch movies...anyway I thought I might as well listen to some music while I surf the net and found Aural Moon after a progressive rock search and am loving what I am hearing...playing Zappa The Purple Lagoon as I type this. I think I will subscribe to this station!

KCPR 91.3 and free online radio. There's a few players you can use with them depending on your internet speed. They are a college radio station and play everything you would want, no commercials except the occasional public service announcement and to tell you what they played. Friday evening, 9-12 or so, is Alternative 70's show, which plays B-sides and less popular songs off popular albums. The DJ of that show recommends headphones:)
I sleep to KCPR every night.
