I recommend seeing live music at Walt Disney Concert Hall located in downtown Los Angeles. ( It’s not in the Disneyland location)

I really like this place a lot and have seen jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter there. Definitely a great place to see live music.

One of my favorite places in California is Catalina Island. It’s only 22 miles off the coast of Los Angeles so you can get there by ferry boat or helicopter. Gorgeous place.

In the category of hard shell tacos, I love Tito’s Tacos in Culver City, not far from the Los Angeles airport. Their creamy avocado sauce is wonderfully refreshing. It’s kind of like Taco Bell on steroids.

If you’re going to California you definitely need to rent a car. Unless if you’re driving from another state like Arizona for example.

But if you’re only in one city like San Francisco, you don’t need one. Just use public transportation, etc..

San Diego Convention Center. This is a big complex that’s easy to find. Comic Con is held here. It’s a big event where thousands of fans show up each year.
