If I find a site that has some mildly desirable stuff in their inventory, should I post it or will that get me into trouble? I know some people prefer to keep things "hush hush."

we moderators are on a constant watch for blatant commercial advertising for free (there are steps for adverts,headfi is not a non profit site even though it probably has not seen any numbers in the black yet) and it is looked on as suspicious when a persons first or second post is an "ad"

however.

A "look whay i found that may be of interest" post is withinthe rules Only if


A-you have no affiliation with the company

B-you contribute in other forums by posting on varied topics

otherwise we might think you are "A"
