Hello fellow headwizers,
I just recently auditioned the Cary 300SEI with my AKG1000 along with DanG and it was an incredible experience. As a result, I would like to purchase these but would like to know what the best price on the Internet on them is?
I have seen slightly used Cary300SEI 1-3 month old for only $2500 on Audiogon. if thats the case, a NEW Cary should be around $2500-$2700. If anyone knows of a nice dealer with great Cary prices, please let me know.

$2500?!? That will be the best price that you will find!
These puppies tend to go for $3800 or so at the least.
There isn't much markdowns on new Carys.

Contact Albert at Holm Audio - http://www.holmaudio.com. They are an authorized dealer of Cary Audio equipment. They are located in the Chicagoland area. Albert is a very knowledgeable guy and is willing to share his expertise. I bought my MG Head, some tubes, and a 325 from them. They were priced below most of the vendors I researched. Great customer service, though if there is a dealer in your area, Albert will advise you to go to your dealer. He's a good guy, doesn't want to step on anyone's toes.
