Hello, I'm looking at headphones, I have another thread up, and I am interested in the Denon ah-d1001s.

I noticed that I can get the ah-d1000s much cheaper than the d1001s, so what is the difference between these two? They look the same and have the same specs, is it just the carrying pouch?

The headphones themselves are exactly the same.

my D1001's also came with an extension cord that yours might not.


FYI, the Creative Aurvana Live!'s are also the same headphone in different housing.. and those are often much cheaper than the D1001's

EDIT: btw, your title is absolutely horrible.
"Denon D1000 vs D1001... whats the difference?" or something like that would be way way better.
try to make your titles more informative in the future.
