Recently had a my pair of Sennheiser cx 1.00 buds destroyed and ended up with a replacement pair of cx 100's instead.
Seeing as both models are discontinued, and on the surface appear to have the exact same specs, I was wondering if someone could
explain what the difference even is. The cx 1.00 boast having an enhanced bass experience on the box, but as mentioned previously
both pair seem to have the same specs. Can someone help me out?

(Also apologies if this post is in the wrong place, I post here very rarely.)

Easy to see the difference. They moved the decimal point two places to the right and 1.0 becomes 100. :)

Senn likes to recycle so there should be very little difference. Can you hear one. Probably not. Not enough to tell. Should be same driver and housing. Maybe a possible tweak in the foam or other material in the nozzle.

BTW, they are okay but I'll be the first in line to say you can do better. So, if you are on Head-fi take advantage and find the cheap Blon or KZ/CCA or other model that will get you better for the same price or cheaper than the CX1.0 now 100 did.
