Between the ha-fx33 and ha-fx34 series?

They are about the same. The FX33 has slightly larger diameter tubes. So they are easier to use Comply T-400's on. Other than that, they sound essentially identical IMO.

I have a pair of Krammer modded and my wife does too. The rubbery grey tubes were pulled off to get the Shure e2c soft rubber tips to fit. Do i need to find the old grey tubes and glue them back on so the Comply tips don't slide off and be stuck in our ears?

Thanks!

The FX34 is slightly too small for Complys without the grey rubber tubes. But you can just use a ring of tape as a replacement.

How's the sound of the 34 vs. the 33???

the older fx33's also have a larger foam insert (in addition to the larger diameter)

ive owned two pairs of the 33's in the past and i recently acquired some 34's. the sound is pretty much identical, the only reason i prefer the older 33's is because of habit/i feel like the larger inserts are more comfortable

edit: they have also shortened the wire by a few inches. another bummer in my opinion!

Why not try something else? You know, something that isn't named after a mushy, grossly sweet snack?
