I haven't heard too many good things about that can. You might want to look into their new line that just came out I believe their lowet one is 515.

Bloated, muddy, boomy one-noted bass; recessed everything above the lower mids... Bleh!

I'm looking for a slightly less veiled sound than the 497. Will the 515 provide that?
