I've been thinking about buying a pair of MS2i's and I know these are different 'phones from the MS2's. Firstly, is the design the only difference between the two or do they sound different? Nextly, are the MS2i's listed on Alessandro's website as the MS2's or are they just discontinued?

The site only lists MS2, but any made recently are MS2i. Only head-fi ers really call them MS2i, the i denotes the 325i cup.

I really wouldn't fret over the difference in sound between the MS-2 and MS-2i. I think most people would describe the difference as negligible.

Yeah, everything I saw comparing the two seemed to say that they were damn near identical sonically. I think the MS2i is a little nicer looking, but that's just a personal judgement.
