What's the consensus on most ideal amps for AKG K712 and other K/Q models?

AKG seem to have some pretty analytical cans.  I even find my K712's pretty analytical sounding. 
 
What type of amps did most of you AKG owners end up with on your journey for the most ideal synergy - from budget to baller?
