This is probably the simplest question for most of you.
- I have a late 90's yamaha 5.1 receiver.
- I have some Sennheiser wireless headphones
- All my inputs are optical (CableBox + Media PC).
Here's the problem:
- If i simply use the headphone jack, I have to manualy turn off my speakers, and turn off the subwoofer. If i dont, the sound will still come through these channels in addition to the headphones. Because of this i dont want to use the headphone jack.
The headphones come with the white and red rca cables.
I tried using the second speaker zone output, but they state you need you sources to be hooked up analog to the receiver so it can pass it to the 2nd zone. The problem with this is i cant have optical and analog coming out of my computer at the same time.
I am just wondering how people do this?
The main purpose of these headphones is to watch movies and TV when the family is sleeping.
Thanks in advance
