Yes I know, it's too early for inane questions like this but since the Go-Vibe is back and the various PA2V2's, help a brother out.

Xenos 0HA-REP; Go-Vibe 5; Practical Devices XM3. Pick one

(I didn't mention the PA2V2 on purpose since I think it's not really worth it anymore with these little monsters around)

since you have an ipod, why not get a cheaper amp(pa2v2) and a lineout cable? i don't know if this will sound better than just a stock cable with a 100 dollar amp but, that's what i'm doing.

Not anymore, when we have the Go-Vibe 5 (that's the same design)

...and the Xenos 0HA-REP, that, although different, is not second to any of the above IMO

x2... Haven't heard the vibe V yet so at the moment the pint is king IMHO.

It seems to me that the only thing that the Go-Vibe 5 lacks in comparison with the PINT is a 4.7 uF tantalum bypass cap in parallel with the main reservoir cap. Not a big deal... and you could always add one if you really can't live without it, like me

On the other hand Tangent himself says

C6 (tantalum)

This cap can provide some additional bypassing at frequencies between that covered by C4 and C5. I haven't found it to be necessary in the production layout, but I left the position in in case someone did find a situation where it was needed.

Optional? Yes. Do not jumper.

So the head out jack on a iPod is not compatible with the line in on a PA2V2?

OK. That's what I thought.

Anybody have an opinion on the Electric Avenue PA2V2?

Was hoping to get some more input. So this is really a bump. Opinions on the electric avenue PA2V2? New Go-Vibe5? Xenos?
