Hey there guys ! I got 2 great opportunities to buy 2 wonderful set of headphones and I was wondering which would be an improvement or made me discover a new sound:

Shure SRH1440 or Ultrasone HFI-680. Both in like new condition and at a good price. Let me know what you think considering what I have right now and what I had in the past.

Have: HD598, HD570, Beyer DT880, AKG K550, AKG Q701, ATH-M50X, Grado SR225e

Had: HD518, ATH-M35, AKG K172HD, AKG K240 MKII, Ultrasone HFI-580, Beyer DT990, Grado SR60i, MDR-XB500, AKG K702 Senn HD439, Shure SRH750DJ, Bose AE2 and OE2, ATH-AD700x & KEF M500

Thanks !

If you have already had the Ultrasone HFI-580, then you already know the Ultrasone S-Logic sound. Did you like it? If you did, and you want to own it again, then get the Ultrasone. OTOH, if you didn't like it, or you want to try the Shure, then get that!

Actually I liked it but from what I read the hfi-680 sound different than the hfi-580. I was just wondering if someone tried both and would tell me which one is a "better value" !
