I got the Klipsch Custom 3 about a two weeks ago and thought that they were quite lacking with the upper frequency, or perhaps they're just too warm and not as forward as I like. If I were to return them for a different IEM, what be a good recommendation? Since I got these half off at $150, I'd like the price to be not much more, perhaps $200 maaaaybe a little bit more. Thanks.

Try the Etymotic HF5. At least read about it if you haven't considered it yet.
