The bass of the Q40 is louder, tighter and harder hitting. To the point that it was too much to me.
The DT150 bass is fatter, smoother and not so much in your face.
Q40 has maybe more low bass, and the DT150 more mid bass.
Definition/ detail on both is good.

Disappointing though, the more like the Q40's, the better, for me.
