I like the CX 300s, also really like the PX100 headphones also by Sennheiser. I have Audio Technica AD900s as well and appreciate them although I find them a little "lean" sounding at times. Looking for an upgrade to the earbuds, to be used both thru a Samsung Galaxy Tab a and a proper headphone amp. Any recommendations much appreciated, not wanting to go much over the hundred dollar mark if possible.

I think CX300 was the first pair of headphones I bought. I remember using them for quite some time!

I'd recommend the Momentum In-ear I personally like it a lot and it happens to be exactly $100 (well $99.95, but close enough). Might be a bit bright for some though.

The bright balance could be a problem - I
listen to piano and string pieces reasonably often and generally like a more relaxed, yet still crisp and inviting, presentation rather than an upfront one. Pity, the momentums sound good but maybe just not quite right for me personally.
