What's a meaningful upgrade from a Stax 353x?

Would a Stax SRM-007tII fit the bill? Or do you have to go higher up the food chain?

I thought MrSpeakers was working with electronics companies to come out with some new options for ESL headphone amps but that just turned into nothing.

I'm using SR-L700's with my 353x and am wondering if I'm limiting them with that amp.
